Human beings are comparatively weak. Each and every other animal of similar mass are invariably stronger and faster, physically better in some way or another. But the thing about human beings is that they are extremely adaptable. The human brain is a much more powerful computer than that of other animals. As such, it has allowed humanity to live in different environments all across the world. When a person gets too hot, they begin to sweat, allowing a body to cool off. But the brain proved to be more powerful than simple tools and foraging. In fact, humankind built shelters for itself, shelters far more advanced than the nest a bird can build. Those shelters are built on land, and in moderns society, land belongs to individuals. But such real estate can often bleed into each other, because the natural world has no natural borders. The nature of the profession means that a realtor will more than likely have a working relationship with at least one engineering firm and that relationship likely continues because the latter is dependable enough to get the job done.

No one likes waiting for anything too long. Finding surveyors close by will save a little bit of time, if only a few minutes. This is done because travel time is reduced.

It is often said that there is no such thing as a free lunch. In the same vein, the services that an engineering firm provides will not come cheap. It can generally cost a few hundred dollars.

Some rights are inalienable. Owning real estate comes with a lot of rights, like the right to protect from encroachment. In order to keep everything aboveboard, there should be documentation of where the line is.
