Those in forensic accounting might want to look to the Internet if they want to have a strong platform for marketing. When it comes to using social media, interaction is the name of the game. It is clear that there are other platforms to put to use but whether they are as effective as the Internet is up for debate. For instance, radio is a popular platform to utilize but I am of the opinion that it is not at the same level as websites like Twitter. In addition, think about how much it costs to buy advertising space on the radio in addition to the risk of no one being intrigued by your message. Social media, by comparison, isn't as costly and the results are, arguably, better for you.

The same can be said for television, which might come as something of a surprise. However, cable isn't utilized so much these days as streaming content like Netflix, so the idea of buying space for a commercial may not be as preferred. Yes, there are those who have cable and enjoy it but the audience for it is not nearly as tremendous as it was a decade or so ago. However, as someone who wants to become involved in the business world, the choice of platforms to utilize is yours to make.
